CAN Jacksonville Clinical Affiliations
To ensure LPN program students are provided with meaningful clinical experiences, The Center at Jacksonville has partnered with a variety of facilities that complement the structured learning within the classroom. Ranging in scope from long-term care facilities to hospitals to sub-acute facilities, our clinical affiliates allow students to experience the actual environments that will be experienced during employment. Each site provides students with the unique opportunity to experience a crucial aspect of nursing education. These sites are important components to the practical nursing program because hands-on experience is a key part of a nursing student's education.
Clinical affiliates also provide nursing students the opportunity to build professional connections and may help determine what type of healthcare environment would be most interesting to pursue professionally. The Center is proud to be affiliated w ith our clinical sites and recognizes each as an essential part of nursing education.
